Joining Bhakti Yoga

This web site is intended for those of you who have made it a life priority to try and help make others happy. For men this desire to help others should not just relate to your family members.

If you wish to access this web site and receive advice on helping yourself and helping others, you need to complete this form.

The data you send will be stored.

  First name:
Last name:
Email address:
Date of birth: Day Month Year
Do you love God?
Sex:
Are you married*?
Do you have a boy or girl friend?
Your height, in cm: Your weight, in kg:

*The item 'marital status' should be completed as married, if you care for someone with tenderness, wish to or do love him or her and are or wish to be intimate with him or her with sexual activity in mind, and in addition wish to be friends with him or her. Otherwise you should enter your status as unmarried.

Next, please confirm that your priority in life is to help others become happy rather than to follow your conscience or to be happy:

I wish to help others become happy:

It is only God who can decide whether someone is to be happy or not and therefore all your effort will be in vain if your mind set is one of helping others from an individualistic standpoint rather than on behalf of God. If your individuality is so important to you that you cannot comfortably pray to God then you will not truly be in a mode of helping others. This is true irrespective of whether you believe in God or not: it is your good intention that counts rather than a pre-conceived mind set. You need to pray to a deity that is suited to your nature.

Women in general need to pray to their family deity (male or female, Hindu or other) to bring love into their home life and specifically to help their husband or husband to be.

When you send me the above form, you will be sent an email telling you what actions you can consider taking to help you develop in your religious life of helping others. Different people need different things. There are five topics that this email will cover:

1 Some people need more and some people need less sexual activity in their lives. Sexual activity is natural and is mankind’s primary drive. It helps with being creative and many other things, but it can also be stressful or addictive, depending on you. I set out whether you need to focus more attention in this area or not.

2 Nowadays, the food and water or other liquid products one has are polluted to a great extent by man’s ongoing destruction of the environment. If you can, it is best to switch to a predominantly milk or yoghurt diet. Some people need more yoghurt and some people need more milk. Responses 3 and 5 in my email will contain advice on this.

3 I also set out whether in my view you are ready to start helping people. My article called ‘How to be a Friend’ gives you pointers on this subject. Intentions to help people are of course commendable, but one needs more than this.

Your application to join Bhakti Yoga may or may not be successful. If it is you will be sent an email with a private password for you alone. If it is not, please do not be disheartened but please carefully study the sections of The Loving Heart Centre relevant to you, and reapply when you think you are ready.

Note: If your marital status changes, you need to reapply to join.
